SpeedBox 3.0 Tuning Chip for Giant E-Bikes (2017–2022)

The SpeedBox 3.0 is a reliable third-generation tuning chip designed for Giant motors from 2017 to 2022 (excluding SyncDrive Pro with RideControl Go). It removes the speed limiter, allowing your e-bike to reach speeds of 40 km/h, 50 km/h, and even over 60 km/h. Your display continues to show accurate stats like speed, mileage, and range after installation.

How It Works

Activate the chip using the WALK button—your display will show 9.9 km/h to indicate tuning is active. To deactivate, press WALK again, and the display will show 2.5 km/h, restoring the 25 km/h speed limit.

For bikes without a WALK button, activate/deactivate using the + – + – combination. You can set custom speed limits by shifting down three levels and then up three levels. Limits appear as: 1.5 km/h = 15 km/h, 2.0 = 20 km/h, 2.5 = 25 km/h, 3.0 = 30 km/h, 9.9 = 99 km/h. The last value is saved after 5 seconds of inactivity.

SpeedBox App (Bluetooth Tuning)

The SpeedBox App connects via Bluetooth to your e-bike, displaying live data and saving trip details for future comparison. You can manage tuning settings and security features directly from your phone.
